The heart of your Baratza grinder: The grinder ring and holder

The conical grinder of your Baratza grinder consists of two parts: the inner grinding cone (also called "cone burr") and the outer grinder ring ("ring burr"). At Yipi Coffee you can find the grinder ring and matching holder here - perfect for models such as the Encore , Virtuoso and Preciso .

The exchange is so easy

In contrast to changing the inner grinding cone, replacing the grinder ring and holder is straightforward:

1. Remove the bean container.
2. Remove the grinder ring, which is located directly underneath.
3. Make sure to align the red mark on the ring with the mark on the case – done!

This simple step will keep your Baratza grinder in top shape and continue to deliver perfect coffee enjoyment.

• Hardened steel makes the ring burr susceptible to tarnishing/rusting. This does not affect functionality. Remove tarnishing/rusting using cooking oil. After grinding the coffee beans, the oil contained in the grinder prevents the grinder from starting to rust again.
